This mansion is an invaluable monument due to the pictorial decorations it houses, undoubtedly the most interesting of the 16th century in Latin America.

In the Museo de la Casa del Escribano there is a permanent exhibition with different pieces, representative of the artistic and handicraft production of the 16th - 19th centuries, with sculptures, easel paintings, furniture, ceramics and porcelain and others. The colonial kitchen is preserved, with its large conical fireplace and household utensils.
