On the island of Santo Antão, of volcanic origin, the streams are deep. The peaks and ridges are steep. The highest point of the island is the Crown Top, with 1,979 meters, an inactive volcano, followed by the Peak of the Cross, with 1,585 meters.
Nature has thus marked an island that seduces the most adventurous. For them the proposals include trekking, biking or horseback riding, visits to small sugarcane farms with their inevitable "mills" (mills driven by animal power) to crush the cane) and "stills" or, simply, the contact with the nice "people" of Santo Antão.
