Villa Pietro is a 17th Century house in the Leopoldina style. It is typical of this part of the Chianti Valley near Cortona. The name Leopoldina comes from Pietro Leopolda. Grand Duke of Tuscany. He built houses for his farm workers in order to improve their standard of living. Villa Pietro is completely renovated whilst keeping a number of traditional architectural details. There is a spacious swimming pool in the garden and the house is surrounded by olive trees and cypresses. Thanks to its excellent position you can enjoy the sun all day. You can also admire the beautiful sunset on the sloping Tuscan hills. The ancient Etruscan city of Cortona is a ten minute drive away.
