This charming, family-run hotel provides traditional accommodation in a beautiful, half-timbered building, and is set in the tranquil village of Glottertal, right in the middle of the Black Forest.

The hotel is ideally located for day-trips to Switzerland or France, as well as for excursions through the Black Forest. You can enjoy a number of sporting activities in the surrounding area all year round. Glottertal and the Breisgau region boast spectacular scenery throughout the year. Here you can appreciate the many fruit trees, sweet meadow flowers, colourful hillside vineyards and snow-covered peaks.
There are leisure pursuits available nearby to suit everyone. You can go hiking, take part in winter sports, visit the huge theme-park in Rust, or go sightseeing in Freiburg. Both Freiburg and the tri-border region are only a few km away.
You can also visit the local spa facilities, which were used as the setting for the popular 1960’s German television series, Black Forest Clinic (Schwarzwaldklinik).
This hotel has been a family-run business for around 100 years and is happy to offer its charming premises and experienced staff for weddings and other events.
Children under 3 can stay for free with their parents. Cots, highchairs and bottle warmers are readily supplied by the hotel if needed.
