Each of the rooms at Landhaus Walkenmühle comes equipped with a private bathroom with free toiletries. Some rooms offer a view of the mountains and some also include a TV.
A fresh breakfast buffet is served each morning at the hotel, and the on-site restaurant serves a range of a la carte specialities.
After breakfast, enjoy stimulating hikes or cycle to scenic lakes Schluchsee or Titisee. In winter, skiing enthusiasts will find extensive trails and modern facilities. Other facilities available include a sauna and a children’s playground.
There is free private parking available at the hotel. The beautiful Black Forest nature park offers many leisure activities in summer or winter. There are 1,000 kilometres of cycle trails for cyclists or mountain bikers. Many of the cycling routes are complete circuits, and on other routes you can arrange for a bus transfer back to the hotel.
There are also many hiking trails passing near the hotel. The hotel is also just a short drive from Germany's largest Nordic walking area. This consists of 62 kilometres of routes featuring information boards offering advice on warm-up and stretching exercises.
Winter sports enthusiasts will find numerous cross country skiing trails and many skiing areas nearby.
