Rickenbach lies at an altitude of 750 metres in the southern part of the Black Forest at about 70 km from Freiburg. The village is central situated at the Hotzenwälder Sonnenterrasse which guarantees a large number of sun-hours.

At the edge of the village lies Haus am Wald in absolute calmness on a parcel of no less then 3000 m. Your house is situated on the ground floor and is directly accessible to the garden with laying meadow where among others long chairs, garden furniture and a barbeque are at your disposal.

In combination with the southern location and the views this area forms an ideal destination for the nature lover. Walking- and bicycles courses run as it happens right along the village!
