Built in 1580 as a Busquets family home and purchased by the Earth Council in 1702; It is an essential visit for those who want to understand how Andorran institutions work.
Visitors can admire some works of art of great interest, including the frescoes of the 16th-century antechamber, reminiscent of large court tapestries, and two 17th-century altarpieces.
It is worth mentioning the court room of Corts (criminal court) on the ground floor, where part of Andorra's justice system is still underway, the hall of the General Council, where the Andorra parliament, the antechamber, meets where the councilors They meet informally, the office of the General Union and the kitchen, which is still used once a year, when the meeting of the Married Brotherhood of Andorra la Vella is held.
Visits are guided from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm (this time is subject to ceremonies, meetings and other acts of the Administration and the General Union office).
