This historical manour house is located in the centre of Serpa, a 15-minute drive from the Guadiana riverside. Featuring an Arab-style décor and architecture, Casa da Palmeira is located next to the Serpa medieval walls.
The 18th century home was recently renovated, whilst maintaining all the unit’s original features. The unit features a spacious living room with sofas and an antique fireplace. There is also an equipped kitchen and a large dining table. Most rooms feature the original vaulted ceilings, decorated with rosettes and mouldings.
Guests are welcome to cook their own meals in the equipped kitchen. The Serpa centre has several traditional Portuguese restaurants available, most within a 5-minute walk from the house.
The house comes with a large private garden, which is situated between the house and the old wall of the city. The rooftop terrace has a dining area with a table and chairs, for guests wishing to enjoy al fresco meals or have a drink, while enjoying the view.
Beja is a 28-minute drive and features a scenic historical centre, as well as several restaurants and shops. The unit is a 28-minute drive from the Spanish border. The Beja Train Station is a 24-minute drive from the house. The Beja Airport is a 35-minute drive from Casa da Palmeira.
